shields has been pitching like crap for a month.

if anyone will still give anything for him, they should trade him.  he's like the worst starter they have.

I'm serious, if you are a royals fan and enjoy Costco head down I'll say "how 'bout them royals" and we'll slap hands. Then I'll buy some high-end turkey burgers.

do they have brioche buns?

I don't know what those are :frown:

fancy buns  :dunno:

if so, get ready to encounter a high-fiving j-dub  :excited:

Holy crap :emawkid:

I actually would agree with this over trading Holland. I've seen talk of a Holland trade on ESPN and it scares me because he is the man.
Luke's stock is rising as Winters continues to validate his greatness. Add Luke and Winters to my list! Also, EMAWBLAST! and Tobias!

hey ryan, shut up you dumbass. "the white sox aren't paying adam dunn to take walks" (aka get on base) "he strikes out too much, his batting average is too low, he doesn't have enough rbi's"

adam dunn career ops: 860 career ops+: 124

vs.

alex gordon career ops: 782 career ops+: 111

billy butler career ops: 813 career ops+: 119

The white sox certainly paid for an .860 career OPS, however Dunn has only put up a .734 OPS (98 OPS+) for them.

Can we just go ahead and platoon Dyson and aoki? Dyson hits  .313/.375/.344 against righties and aoki hits .369/.414/.462 against lefties. Is this too progressive of thinking for Ned?

ok, two of three lefties.  makes sense, i guess.  but herrera doesn't care if the hitter is left or right.

yeah, i get that. but ryan was talking about his career homers and rbi's. ryan was criticizing him in order to take a shot at sabermetrics lovers. "oh, walks are bad, they don't advance runner's yada yada, not enough rbi's blah blah blah."

ryan is a douche. he's so passive aggressive and snooty about new school thinking. that's my beef with him.

that and he's mean to rex  :curse:

actually, just looked him up - herrera is way better against righties.  good call, whoever is managing.

I like Denny Matthews.  I dislike Phys and Ryan and I still have no idea why there are two TV guys doing play-by-play depending upon which inning it is.
