I'm pretty sure that Wade Davis loaded the bases on purpose, just to add a little excitement.

Wade has given the Indians the absolute largest pair of blue balls. I mean good grief, it's like two entire Earths.

Paraphrased:

Rex: I really like all the flowers around the sports complex.

Ryan: You like flowers? What a queer.

Rex: Well, but I almost died a few years back, and it really changed the way I look at things in life.

Ryan: Gay!!!!!!!!!!!

:curse: I really don't like when Ryan is mean to Rex

Ryan suffers from depression and wrote a book about it, maybe Rex should fight back.  :curse:

bones129 more like boner129:

I am optimistic about this year's version of the Royals, as long as Ned learns how to handle a bullpen, especially in the middle innings. As far as the late innings go, I cringed last night when Phys said that Wade Davis would likely be the 8th innning guy. Wade needs to go.

 :D

mocat aka the LHC Bill Snyder of 8th inning relievers:

Ned didn't do anything wrong Monday you weirdos. Shields cruising, leave him in. 2 straight guys on base at 105 pitches, yank him. Wade Davis has proven (in TB) that he thrives in the 8th inning setup spot. Yanked appropriately. Holland gives up hit, what can you do?

 :gocho:

Davis is far and away the best 8th inning option the Royals have right now, are you guys being for serious or no?

I have to be the kid from another country that didn't pick a baseball until he was 17, but after 4 years in the minors, he's earned a spot on a big league roster because....

Thanks kid. I had some media and family commitments postgame, but you guys did great today. Mocat really showed me why he's my ace with that blue balls post.

Oh, and Slobber (tosses baseball to Slobber) welcome to the team kid.

Easy there, mocat...Wade wasn't hell on wheels last season and he wasn't coming into this season. That said, he's a killer now and has been for weeks, and I've been singing his praises ever since he became the killer he is now.  :)
