dejesus slapped a lead off single but got the next three out. he hit 100 and looks good. just one inning though, we'll see

Jesus rough ridin' Christ, Hosmer and Butler look like absolute garbage thus far. We also have pretty much zero power in the system right now.

but yes, i'm frustrated with how billy has started the season because he is continuing his downward trend that was evident all of last season. his OPS last year was .787 which is painfully average for a DH that is also the second slowest player in baseball. hell his WAR was 1.5 which equates to a role player. he was awesome in 2012 but you can't just act like 2013 never happened.

He hit .310 in the 2nd half of last season.

Ventura would be down around 80 pitches if the strike zone was consistent. His command has been really good.
