Agreed! Just giving cf3 a hard time since he gives the chiefs and royals critiques differently. The Royals are the younger child with him. Kid keeps messing up, but he went to a juco this year and is showing great progress. Chiefs are the older child. He's always shown promise, but shame him when he messes up, he should know better and he'll never finish law school.

Agreed. Very skeptical of PED's banned hitters. See Melky Cabrera. 

A rumored guy in return would be Bautista. Do Not Want (Especially if Ventura is a kicker ). He's gotta be juicing. Just look at '10/'11 production compared to his last two. As far as OBP and Slugging go, they're very similar. Lateral move there, IMO.

 

I'd take Bautista for Billy in a heart beat.   

Why? His power seasons from '10/'11 appear to be outliers and he is 33. Butler is 27 and has been our most consistent hitter.

We need someone with legit power.   Bautista still hit 27 and 28 the last two years and I would venture to guess his body type will hold up better than Billy's.

2B is a tad bit different than quarterback. And a free agent signing is different than a trade.

I'm having a hard time getting up for Infante. Someone tell me why I should be.  Seems like a lot of money for a punch and Judy middle infielder who is below average in the field, kind of old and not particularly good at anything.

I guess he was pretty good in his 3/4 of a season last year, but he was pretty well protected in that lineup.
