Stadium vibe was pretty good. Lil SF and I had fun and he basically said it was like a Chiefs game which was pretty cool to hear. I've told him a million times that playoff baseball games rule and i'm glad I got to take him. You just had the feeling all night that everyone was ready to explode, but they just never strung anything together long enough for it to happen. There were some good pops, but just nothing sustainable. Back out there tonight and hopefully they get going early so it's rocking.

we take way too many good pitches, I agree. I know it's more complex than this, but I tell Lil SF this all the time. Be ready to hit the first straight one you see in the zone at all times. You don't want to be trying to hit the curve or whatever junk that comes after. I should prob get that message to the R's hitting coach guy.
