Belt was better last year than I remember. Votto I'm pretty confident is done. I'm cautiously hopeful DeJong can get hot. We'll see. Go Cats FTB etc

I think Votto said he'd never wear another teams jersey and basically called himself washed and wanted to hang it up. agreed he's done.

also everyone's acting like the season is over. let's just go out and kick ass anyway guys. plenty of ballgame left.

not sure if this is about the physical OF or the players and I didn't watch this game but kyle tucker injury has turned the OF shittier for sure. dubon forced to play 3b instead of LF because of Bregs sore arm. myers is a nice CF (but can't hit to save his life). I know a lot about them because I am forced to watch them a lot.

obv, hope the royals can get a win today.  but even if not, it's good to see lugo and ragans going out and looking like its may again after a run of tired-ass looking starts.

oh, actually it's an 11 game pod that includes a game on sept 1st.  anyways, good start.

lost 7 of 11 as well as a starter, a closer, a right fielder and a first baseman.  not too good.

We sat behind home plate on Saturday and yeah we lost the game and that sucks. BUT we made friends with the Astros fans sitting beside us. There was friendly banter back and forth and after the game they were like, we want to give you something for being a good sport. They had a tour of the stadium earlier in the day and got Bobby and Salvy’s signatures on the same ball! They were like, this would mean more to you having two HOF players on the same ball. This was the view from our room with the ball from yesterday!

Hopefully by the end of the year we can appreciate the turnaround, but right now I'm mad!

seven game losing streak since we tied cleveland for first.  fortunately, boston sucks enormously, so they're closer to getting passed by detroit and seattle than they are to catching kc.

Hopefully just a weird slump they break out of. I mean, they are missing fastballs right down the middle right now. Well, Melendez almost always does, but it's rubbed off on Bobby too. Rex keeps commenting on it as well so hopefully it's just a weird anomaly. Amazing that they have lost so little ground in the WC though. Very lucky.

scoring more than two runs was clever.

mot of the rules updates mlb has done have been great, but they really mumped up the sept callups.  it was great when the calendar turned, and boom, all of a sudden there's like 10 new players.
