There is absolutely no defending this. He is costing the Royals millions of dollars. Plain and simple.

The guy sucks ass on offense, and has become just a paycheck collector on defense. His fluke plays of 'effort' are still costing us money. Just cut his rough ridin' ass, and assign that money to someone else, or give the fans a refund.

It's in the royals favor to get him as far away from the team as possible. Charlie Weis contract cut his ass.

This is true. But most of my hate isn't even from what he makes. He could be making $6M and I would hate him because he's a detriment to this team

Esky OPS isn't ever gonna be good because he isn't a power hitter or .350 OBP guy. However Esky has hit .283 the last 90 games.

Gordo only value is being a stud defender and making impactful plays.

1 spectacular catch and a few other nice catches is the Good. 3 balls hitting his glove and not catching them, plus last night's play are the bad. Those don't equal out to a "very valuable Defense player" here in the 2nd half.

I was v frustrated by the 9th last night, but I don't have it in me to meltdown over this Royals team at this point in the season.

But if Moose doesn't get 37 I will absolutely lose my crap.
