Last 35 games, scored 0-2 runs 13 times
Prior 43 games, it only happened 6 times

* So the 4+ allowed went from 49% to 83%.
And the 0-2 scored went from 14% to 37%.

This whole spat started over whether the royals should build for the future at the july 31 trade deadline or make one last run.

I was of the opinion our pitching staff was garbage and we should trade for pitching. Every other antogonist in this thread was cheering over the Cahill trade and drooling over the "easy" remaining schedule.

I was right. Everyone else was wrong (particularly motard). Per usual.

And, Jimmy Gafingo is starting pitcher.

1st and 2nd no outs. We get nothing with Salvy & Moose.

Moose with an awful AB. He swung at ball in the dirt. Then on 3-1, swings at pitch 5 inches outside. No rough ridin' patience. Gibson threw 5 straight balls.   Then DP groundout on 3-2 pitch.
