The Royals
« Reply #71875 on: August 10, 2017, 07:19:10 AM »
The Royals will go on another good stretch. I just hope it's not too late. This has been an incredibly streaky team.

Hopefully we can salvage a win tonight, then win 4 of 6 vs Chicago and Oakland before Cleveland comes to town.

we are 2-8 in the last ten and are only one game out of the wildcard so it's still doable.  Need salvy back asap and tear up the pud September schedule.

Is it too late to do the weird waiver wire trade stuff and get something for all of these guys who are going to leave us next year?

Whit Bird was his dad's nickname for him as a kid. I like it.
His dad sounds like a jerk.  :curse:

The same fucktards who didn't recognize that we were getting crap value for manea, lamb, montgomery, finnegan, strahm, reed (those are just the lh sp we dealt).
We won a WS dumbass. These are all below average pitchers too. Stop trying so hard.

And surely a couple of those guys have won that Cy Young thing. They are all studs, correct? Like #1/2 starters for their clubs?

JFC, don't you guys remember that one playoff game where Finnegan came in and gave up a run and was renounced a hero after that?

Finn led the Reds to the playoffs last year right? I'm sure they won 95-100 games.

Would you rather have a WS ring or a pitcher that has gone 13-14 over the past 3 years?

Feels like we need a 10-2 type of game with a Moose bomb, a LoCain Lean, and some weird Escobar triple where the right fielder misplays a ball in the corner. Would really clean the palette. We're all on edge in here.

do you guys remember when Yordano just stared down Tulowitski and started walking towards him after he struck him out? It was Game 6 of the ALCS not some random Tuesday in June.   :frown: :bawl:
