A hard grounder to third, the crowd let's out a loud MOOOOOOOOSE as the ball is fielded. A hard throw to first gets the runner. One last time these two corner infielders meet at the mound and embrace, they've won yet another pennant. The 2 prospects we all hoped for did it, and did it again, and after a year of injury and some disappointment did it a third time. Do you see it? Is it inside your head yet? Its in mine. They hug a bit tighter, they know that this is probably the last time they'll do this. The tall first baseman says "Let's get another ring next week in the World Series." "Hell yeah" the third baseman says.

Now open your eyes. How do you feel? I feel ready. Are you ready?

Oh and one more thing, in my mind's eye just now when I went to the future and saw what I saw, Jarrod Dyson was there, and the name on the front of his baseball uniform said "Royals" in that classic script we all love.

_FAN when you close your eyes can you see that text from me saying how any defense of Ned Yost is insane, as I lose my mind inside the K watching a lead slip, and then we win the game anyway despite his questionable bullpen moves?

I can see it, and when I'm sending that text the calendar will read "October" and we will once again dance in the streets like children.

I really am loving our Bullpen. And I'm not even referring to the 24.2 straight scoreless innings.
I'm talking about the arms we now have these final 64 games

Minor, since Apr 20 has a 1.67 ERA, 0.91 WHIP
Alexander, last 3 months has a 2.01 ERA. He's allowed 23 singles, 2 2B/3B, No HR.
Moylan last 26 appearances: 2ER in 20.2 Inn, while allowing a .127 Batting Ave

If the 2 SD guys can come in here and be productive, then our 8th bullpen spot could be McCarthy, Flynn or Feliz. Feliz has been decent. McCarthy has been really good. He hasn't given up a run in over 10 innings. He doesn't walk many hitters or allow XBH. In 21 innings pitched, only 5 BB. 20 singles, 4 2B and No HR.

Holy crap. In my mind's eye I just saw Ben Zobrist on the set of the FS1 baseball team, right there next to AROD. He's been brought in as an analyst for the postseason, and although my mind's ears aren't quite as tuned in, I think he's talking about how the chemistry of this group is unlike anything he's ever experienced in baseball, nay, in life.
