Melting down over a non everyday player is kinda weird to me. Let Dayton do his thing. It's how we got here. I know he's likeable AF and I'll miss his swagger, but we just turned a later round draft pick into value for the team.

If you thought we were starting 2017 with LoCain & Dyson, you weren't being realistic. I thought 80% Dyson gets dealt 20% Cain.

I think value we got as decent. This has nothing to do with how much I like Dyson...But what his trade value is.
A guy with a 4.00 ERA .390 Slug allowed .320 OBP allowed as a starter...Is good value to project as a #5 starter next year and #4/5 starter in 2018.

having a reliable baserunner who is also a + in the outfield was a great thing for the royals I think its going to hurt us not having him anymore. yeah our pitching was crap this past year but we shouldnt have to sacrifice a good player like dyson to get marginally better IMO
