Costly costly loss

I am LOBse level angry i stayed up for that

Yep. I've gotta get up in 5.5 hrs for a client.

Soria can't field his position after allowing 3 baserunners. Then those crap ABs off scrub NY relievers

Soria has an uncanny ability to allow lead off hitters on base and also an uncanny ability to allow the next guy on base so that he always has 2 mf'ing guys on base with no outs

Soria has an uncanny ability to get hitters to 0-2 and then let them back in the count.

Yep. He just doesn't have a go to strikeout pitch.
Bullpen was great for 6 innings after Volkie was a disaster. Soria almost got out of his jam, but he just isn't a good fielding pitcher.

Early on, I thought no way we were gonna have a shot to win.  NYY wasted a bunch of chances all night, but we wasted a few later in the game.  Those are games we have won all year at home. Disappointed we couldn't pull that one out. We need to win 3 of these next 4 at home this week

the amount of things Posse finds to melt down about is unreal. Soria's fielding ability

Tonight feels like a turning point in our run for the playoffs. Games like a last night have been going our way for the past 3 weeks.

it feels bad, but remember, that was a scheduled loss.  volkie vs tanaka, kc should lose that 9 of 10.  kennedy comes back strong and the yankee's new guy doesn't and we're right back on the mantis.

Is this our last game with the illegal 25 man roster restrictions?  I want some gore to score.

Not melting down, just field the ball like a MLB pitcher. It's  the 2nd time he's done this. Both times it cost us a run late , which ultimately ended up being a loss.

His mistakes and bad outings are magnified more because of when they happen.  If he doesn't field that ball with 2 out none on, it probably isn't a big deal or costly.

Cain and Morales's ABs were so, so bad guys. Just inexcusably bad. It was like their brains went to mush and they forgot how to recognize pitches.

It was like the pitcher was just trying to let Cain hit a walk off home run and Cain said "No thanks. I'll just whiff instead."

Cain was trying to hit a damn HR when a lazy fly ball would've scored a run, and a groundball if hit hard at all gets through and scores 2 with the infield playing in. I love Cain but his approach to that AB was really bad.

Cain had a decent AB, struck out on a good pitch. probably trying to swing too hard, sure.

Morales clearly could not pick up the illegal pitcher's throwing motion. he took the first two strikes and was visibly like "yeah i have no F'ing idea" and at that point there was no way he was going to get a hit on any subsequent pitch.
