also you get two pitch overs after the 4th inning to eliminate stalling for a bull pen arm to warm up.

that would ruin the beautiful art of base stealing by making it incredibly easy

it should be easy.  the only we can end this ugly attraction to home runs is to increase the value of getting speed on base.

batter clocked? like a batter only has 1 second to swing or how does that work

i mean there's lots of ways to structure it, but basically eliminate or at least dramatically reduce the glove adjusting, stretching, practice swinging and whatnot these assholes do.

i can think of no other game that would be as easy to improve.  also, soccer afaik, hasn't changed in like 400 years, so i dunno.  maybe you mean cricket.

it doesn't have to be a clock, if you like the no clockiness of baseball.  you could just have it be the ref's judgement. - "pitcher, you're taking to long to pitch, boom batter advances to first."  "batter, you've adjusted your gloves 5 times in 4 pitches, boom, you're out."

this pitcher sucks complete ass, afaik, so i'd like to see the royals score about a dozen with no home runs and several mondesi bunts and bunt triples.  dyson starting is a good idea too, cf3.

Yes, 22 year old rookie. 7 starts, 9.32 ERA, league hitting .331 off him

Tonight is a must win, so Volkie better not be Shitie.
Then we get our 2 hottest pitchers going Sat/Sun

Because ppl with ADD won't watch it and they want more eyes on tv sets. We live in a age of instant gratification and our entertainment value needs to be bang, bang. Sad, I know.

baseball is perfect for people with ADD because there's plenty of margin for tweeting/BBS'ing etc. and you can still watch all of it

They could make more of it tho, mocat. Also, every sport wants to see more points (runs) and I hear that's a big reason for it too.

it's not the longness of the game it's the ratio of action to inaction.

Baseball fans are fine with it.  Non-baseball fans would prefer a quicker game because they don't want to be there to begin with.  They want to attract non-baseball fans.

We'd all be better off, if we'd just stay in our own god-damned lanes.
