Hey guys I went to the Royals game today.

must have been fun (except for the heat).

It was. I was row D in the Diamond Club.

Wanna know what my favorite part in the game was?

Top of the 6th:
oscar Chen pitching for Kansas City
A Jackson doubled to deep left.
T Hunter struck out swinging.
M Cabrera grounded into fielder's choice to pitcher, A Jackson out at third.
P Fielder struck out looking.

Man, are their still 19 or 20 games left in the MLB regular season?

If the World Series goes 7 games, and there's no rain/snow outs.   It will end on the same night the NFL starts the 9th week of its regular season schedule.

The MLB is straight up marketing dumbasses.

I guess the longer seasons are a benefit to teams like the Royals who occassionally sniff the postseason.  It keeps more people in the stands late in the year.

Normal people stop watching baseball when football starts. I had no idea the Royals were even kinda, sorta close to maybe fighting for a wildcard.

That 9th inning was a joke. Getz is fast enough to score from 2nd, and lough can hit RHP, give him a chance to swing away. And Pena? Why not put Jeff King or Tino Martinez up there. My word people.

Its the little things with a manager and although I stand by his ability to manage a pitching staff and pen, he has no idea how to get runs.

Fire Ned Yost.

Hey Carlos... swing the rough ridin' bat

He's too busy being proud that his stupid name is in Moneyball.

He's a loser. He's the anti-Miguel Tejada.
