He's arbitration eligible after this season. Not a free agent until after next season. Rumor has it that KC is trying to negotiate an extension with Hos, who also is under club control through 2017, and Hos is probably a greater priority than Duff. Just depends on where KC wants to put its money and for how long.

Dyson costs (and will cost) basically zero money, so I don't think this is true

I guess they see more upside with Burns. I doubt they really liked Eibner that much since they kept him down in the minors until he was in his mid 40s
