Roys are smart. Lots of people will buy multiple hats/jerseys. There is something for nearly everyone now and they will sell lots of this alternative stuff.

I didn't realize MLB went that far. They didn't do all of this last year did they? I'm assuming every team is doing something like this then?

this is the first year they're doing full fledged mothers and fathers day, but everyone did stars and stripes and some sort of camo last year and have been for awhile iirc, and yes all of MLB will be doing similar uniforms for those same days.
