Cain's game winning run was the first time this season that a runner who was not in motion scored from 1st on a single with less than 2 outs

Guys, last night was great. Totally different than last year, but still amazing.

And what a game. I mean, WHAT A GAME. Yordano dealing, Moose's HR, Zobrist's HR, Hos's leaping catch, Moose's diving catch to his left, Revere's play, Bautista crushing baseballs, Rios (RIOS GUYS) getting the RBI, Price looking like a damn ace much of the game, the rain, Madson, Ned, Wade, Cain's walk, Hosmer's hit, and Wade. Wade. My word.

I wish J-Dub had recorded my rant on using Madson against the best power hitters in baseball with Wade Davis available. It was full of anger and fire. I walked to the top of the upper deck during the delay and ranted for a good 40 minutes.

Ned Yost is the type of person who one day will fall down a flight of stairs, the fall will fix his back problems, and he'll find a lottery ticket worth a million dollars.

The best thing about Denny, is the same thing that is the best thing about Hud. They are themselves, and make no attempt to be someone else. I'm sure many people prefer clowns like Mitch Holtis.

He definitely has lost enthusiasm. His stature and being there since day 1 makes him immovable. His voice is synonymous with summer.
Steve Stewart is very excited. And terrible.

I'm pretty sure I received a text that talked about steve dave's love of Ned and Mack Brown that contained multiple f bombs.

everyone who was around me IRL had had enough of the rant, I had to go outside of the immediate vicinity

the rain delay makes it much more understandable.  but he could have stayed with herrera.  this is hindsight, but he could have used hoch.  or medlen.  madson is a bad matchup for toronto's big three, because his best pitch is his change.  hoch coulda gone in there with that big curve.  he might of walked the bases loaded or whatever, but he probably isn't gonna get hammered to left.

which was pure panic.  still, even though i know it goes against everything every manager believes in.  just use your best pitcher in the 8th against donaldson, bautista and encarnacion.  hand the ball off to madson in the 9th with a two run lead to face 5-7.  or even 4-7 if davis doesn't let anyone on.

A couple thoughts...

1) Herrera max all year was 27 pitches. Threw 21 last night. I really don't want tired KH vs RoidBoys in 8th

2) Madson problem  isn't change up, its location. He has been up all postseason. Even on called 3rd strike to Donaldson, 97 mph fastball was up in the zone

3) Wade was fresh. Let him face 1-2-3-4 hitters.  If rain messes up, so what, u let madsen or Hoch face 5-8 guys in 9th

4) if he let madsen start 8th.... 1 hitter on Rule.  If Tor ties it, let it be on WD arm not Madsen
