Cain's two first-to-homes on singles are the epitomizing images of this team/playoff run to me.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Sucks all the weekend games are in New York.

Don't we want to put our best pitchers on the mound in 1 and 2? That seems more important (doing everything we can to go 2-0) than game 3.

True. It could be Volquey, Ourdano, Cueto, Young.

Cueto isn't pitching an away game.

I lean that way too.

So you guys would rather risk Cueto sucking ass in G2, and potentially starting 1-1, as opposed to him sucking in G3? Seems like we should go all in for the first two games.

Granted, I (a) don't know crap about baseball and (b) have no faith in Cueto home or away. Seems like we've got maybe a 1/3 chance of him giving a solid performance any given game, and that's not good odds.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

I have decent confidence he could at least give us an ALDS game 2 performance at the K. I also have decent confidence that he would give an ALCS game 3 performance in NY. And still a semblance of hope for a ALDS game 5 performance.

Maybe everybody missed my Laz Diaz at quaff story. It was pretty great. His face when I yelled out "Laz" trying to figure out if he knew me....

Alright guys, let's talk WS rotation.

I'm thinking Ned goes Volquey, Cueto, Ourdano, Young.

Cueto can't pitch in NY.

so ventura wouldn't pitch game 6?   :dubious:

Wil Myers is not a viable major league player and wade Davis is a cyborg sent to crush souls and kill dreams.

no offense chingon.  it seems to have become something of a fad lately to play the royals in illegal stadiums, so i needed to check.

Look at the post above this! I changed my mind, Ourdano for 2 and 6.

The best thing about Denny, is the same thing that is the best thing about Hud. They are themselves, and make no attempt to be someone else. I'm sure many people prefer clowns like Mitch Holtis.
