well sys, argue all you want, I see your point, and I think different. Cueto is going to get his starts, and I agree with it. No hard feelings, now let's get a W today.

sys, you're making good points.  i'm very much on the fence right now.  i assume we would stick cueto in the bullpen and serve as an emergency long reliever if one of our other starters have an early inning meltdown?

probably so.  if you don't trust him to start, then you also wouldn't trust him in important relief, so he'd probably just be the mop up guy.

Has Cueto ever thrown relief? You'd either put him in the pen or put somebody like Gomes on the bench.

I guess the latter would make sense, especially in an NL park.

I think we win 6-4. Young dedicates a three run, 6 inning effort to dad.

Wouldn't it be great to have a Grudzie on the team?

five innings, one run (solo by colabello).  young is fantastic human and it will feel fantastic to watch him triumph.

Fun Fact:  On the current Royals roster, who has the most HR's and RBI's against RA Dickey?  Your first thought was correct.  Alex Rios.

i'm a lot more worried about not scoring on this illegal pitcher than i am about young pitching poorly.  knuckleballing is terrifying.

It really feels like a 3-1 Royals win type of day.

I posted that fun fact because overall the stats against RA didn't look good at all.   :runaway:

I'm thinking a 5-3, Wader "check please" type of game.
