Who wants to play Hero? Some odds just for the hell of it

Zoby 15%
Cain 35%
Hos 35%
Morales 15%

royals usually use multiple heroes.  single hero baseball is boring.

I agree. I was just speaking of who would get the big hit in the 10th.  It could have been anyone.

I'm just glad they pitched to Morales cause Infante was on deck

8-2 homestand.  and it totally feels like it should have been 10-0.

i guess it wouldn't have felt weird to lose tonight and one of those 1 run white sox wins.  maybe 8-2 isn't so far off.

I still can't believe Street walked Butera. Probably the biggest PA of the night.

He looked like the ace he was always destined to be.

Posse stats of the night....

Well, tonight was our 4th "walk-off" win of the season
We have also have 46 walks in our last 11 games
Our 48 walks in Aug are more than any AL team this month

Zoby is a BB machine. He is rubbing off on others. Butera walk and Hos walk late were just 2 of the important factors in us winning tonight

Closer walked 3. Which is worse, that, or what Holland did the other night?

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Was there tonight. Atmosphere was solid throughout, went to another level from the 9th on. Walking Butera, with pitches so far outside the zone (not ball 4) was the cardinal sin. Only Coleman has looked more overmatched this season than Drew. Probably should have walked Morales and pitched to Infants. Can't wait to see what overpriced fa Anaheim signs in the offseason only to regret two years later.

The main difference between Coleman and Butera is that Coleman has no MLB credentials, while Butera is widely recognized as a good defensive MLB catcher. Drew can't hit, but his defensive skills are what keeps him in the bigs.

I believe the Angels will overhaul in the off-season. Scioscia will get canned, but will catch on as a manager with another MLB club because he's a good manager when supported with good front office personnel and good player personnel decisions.

His defensive skills have been garbage with the royals.
