The apology.

Per freetranslation:

"At this time i am realizing that the anger takes hold of the human being and it is what happened with me with the comment k i was to the person of Joseph who is a good man and a great human being I ask apology to him and to the entire fanbase, which is located in shock with what i was (i am very contrite) and we all make mistakes and that we learn as we all know is my termpermento but i am improving a lot as a person and that is why this alleged because I am not less of a man with apologize with something that ise with the head well hot i apologize again and again, and thank you to God that It gives me the ability to recognize my mistakes."

I hate apologies. Not very swag'y
Please don't ban me, Mr. Dave.

baseball is so Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).  why in the world would stealing signs be frowned upon (by players, having a non player in the stands do it should be illegal)?  if i was a batter and a player on my team knew what pitch was going to be thrown and he didn't tell me, i'd be hella mad.  what the eff, are you trying to win or not?

Sign stealing is best with a guy on base. Every time we figured out signs (usually from playing a team several times), we always motioned to each other what pitch was coming once we got on 2nd. I don't understand teams that don't take advantage of this, that can get away with it.

The theory is that they are using non-baseball personnel (in the crowd) and some sort of technology (likely TV feed) to relay the signals.

i saw that story (old).  but the situ from this series seemed to be that the royals were pissed that runners on 2nd were signalling pitches to the hitter.

to me, that's exactly what they should do.  the royals should disguise their pitches (and if they want to hit the batter as punishment, that's fine too).  but don't complain about them to the media/twitter afterwards.  that's stupid, they're trying to win.

also, don't let so many runners get to 2nd.  maybe don't walk the leadoff batter every inning, for example.

yeah, the Royals are being idiots if that is what they are mad about.  Even in high school we used 3 signal rotating signs with or without men on base because everyone will steal obvious signs. Not to say it wouldn't start crap if it was obvious

If the Blue Jays are stealing signs from 2nd vs having someone in the outfield seats do it, then it shouldn't cause them to hit so much better at home than on the road. I don't know if they are stealing signs, but if so I'm guessing someone in the stands is relaying them in during home games.

unless they're just incredibly lazy, there's no reason they couldn't have a guy in the stands stealing signs on the road too.  at least in some/most parks.

I looked up the home/road splits for the Blue Jays for both their hitters and pitchers. Not only is their offense significantly better at home but their pitching is too. I figured that the Rogers Center must be a pretty good hitters park based on their offensive splits, but their pitching splits suggest the opposite.

Offense: Home - .278 avg .352 obp .482 slg 79 hr
              Away - .250 avg .313 obp .406 slg 60 hr

Pitching: Home - .232 avg .290 obp .377 slg 52 hr
              Away - .274 avg .334 obp .435 slg 56 hr

How much time between salvy giving the signal and the pitch being delivered? It just seems unfeasible to relay the signal effectively without a guy at second.

Isn't that part what we did.....Hit them for a) hurting moose and b) stealing signs?  Where it became so dramatic is them throwing fits for being pitched close and hit when they knew exactly what they were being thrown at for?

no relay.  the guy in the stands is purported to also signal.  no more delay than from a guy at second.

With nobody on base, there wouldn't be much time but the hitter could still peek up there when the pitcher is early in his windup. If the pitcher is in the stretch, there is plenty of time to relay.

Like some dude in centerfield?  It just seems like something that would be overtly obvious to everyone on the field where the hitter was.looking.   and also obvious if someone in the crowd was making signals
