Looks like Rios will be activated Friday. My guess is that Paulo will be optioned to Omaha to make room for him. I like Paulo, hope to see him back in September when the rostesrs expand.

Bettancourt!!!

Page 3, 4/5/2010. He hit a first-inning home run of then-stud Verlander. Royals ended up losing, which caused a few  :curse: later on by some of our most esteemed posters.

 My first post in this thread.

What's yours?

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Arrieta is not a cure for a slumping offense.  :frown:

I'm not a pitching coach but it seems strange to stretch someone out when you notice glitches in delivery.

Before everyone freaks out, please remember he's been in the organization less than a year.

Love my Cubbies but right now the Roys could really use a nice solid 2 out of 3 ass kicking (on the giving end of said ass kicking).

I'm an admitted Royals freak-outer. So much so that I need to take small breaks because I get all bent out of shape. I am a huge loser. I could really use a win today.

On one of the Royals podcasts they talked about why they are being so careful with his innings. Between college, minors, and his call up last year he threw a ton of innings. They want to make him a starter, but they have to be careful with innings this year. They also still want to have him available for relief for the Royals, especially late. Plus figuring out what they currently have for pitchers. There are a quite a few factors in figuring out how to use him.

Gives him more game pitches to work on the glitch.

LeBron's season really took off when he ditched the headband. I expect similar results for Duffy.
