this one hurt

Meh. I think I'm already becoming jaded. IF the offense was to show up and IF the pen was even semi reliable they'd be a pretty damn solid team. Also, Yost's decisions with the pitching changes is really starting to piss me off. One positive is the starting pitches have been pretty damn impressive.

Great job of perfectly summing up Royals baseball.  We'd be a pretty good baseball team if only _________.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

I love Hud. Did you guys catch him asking Peter Gammons to sign his baseball yesterday?

I have warmed up. I hate physioc or whatever.   Ryan should do every game.   Hud is just a big goofy teddybear.

Omg are you joking me? Ryan lafebvbere is the worst announcer in the world. Such a whiny bitch always making excuses and trying to make the opponent sound worse and the royals better

David Ortiz just took 3rd base off Frenchy.  Keep that in mind the next time someone tries to tell you Frenchy is the best arm in baseball.

I don't think you guys realize how deep that is in Fenway. He had no shot of throwing anyone out who wasn't using a walker.

Also today was the first game this season that a Red Sox starter gave up more than 3 runs. Grats Royals fans.

You can say a lot of things about Frenchie but the dude does have a very strong arm.  Don't think I would call it the strongest in baseball but it's still impressive.

That is fair.  I think range is much more important than arm strngth and offense is more important than either for an OF, but he does have a really good track record for outfield assists.

I haven't watched enough of the games to gauge his range this season.  It seems as if his range was greatly diminished during much of last season.  How does it look this year?  More similar to last year or 2011, when I thought he had decent range as a RF.

You're right though, OF assists aren't really that important when compared to range and especially offense for corner OFs.  It is a great asset to an already complete player though.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

They don't seem to like each other very much. Both were Gordon's fault.
