Games like this remind me that of we want to have a decent record this season you have to sweep teams like the Twins.

Woof 5 home runs for the Braves this game, we have like 5 all season.

Herrera throws a sick slider and he has thrown two fastballs and a changeup for homers. He is melting down pretty hard right now, but salvy called some crappy pitches.

My softball team has more HR's than the Royals and we've only played 4 games.

We should though. Our 3-6 hitters hitting for 0 power right now is rough ridin' abysmal. Gordon, Hosmer, Perez and Moose all have the ability to hit for good to great power.

But mostly just ok power. None of those guys are 30 HR hitters this season, and that's ok. We play in a big ball park and well be fine getting runs in other ways.

But yes, the meat of our lineup needs to sack up. It's sad watching Gordon get on base every time and stand there and watch as our best hitters pop up and strike out.

The bravest are probably the best team in baseball and this is going to be our toughest road trip this season (guessing, haven't looked). Lets try to get out of this unscathed and around .500 and well go from there.

You left out Billy B. 29 dingers last year, 2 so far this season.

BB's power numbers have always come 2nd half. Hosmer and mouspopups need to get their shlt figured out.

What are our doubles numbers right now? I'm guessing they are below avg too.

Mouse has the worst batting avg of the regular players.

The Royals HR record is 36... several people have hit 36 before the all-star break. Its a cultural thing here in KC. We have a hitting coach who was a Royal and so he doesn't focus on hitting bombs because thats how its always been
