Good to see Yost  give up on this game with pitching Casey Coleman.

well, the game was already lost.  the royals haven't scored five runs in a game since 2011.

I wouldn't mind seeing a little Brandon Finnigan this afternoon.

once again, cf3 thinks it and yost does it.

looking v. sharp.  the old middle relievers may just have been left in finnegan's wake.

i was calling for finnegan on tuesday when cf3 and i were bud'ing it up out at the K.

cf3 - "this is too much of a pressure situation to bring a guy in for his first appearance in the bigs."

j-dub - "bfd, he was pitching in the CWS as his teams ace like a week ago. i think he can handle two batters in the 8th on a tuesday night at the K"

what does he do in his 1st appearance (in yankee effing stadium) ?

strikes out jacoby ellsbury and derek jeter.

He would've started 4 more games. 4. You're telling me we can't win a game vs. the White Sox or Red Sox with Hendricks or Finnigan?

So what we should really be lamenting is the loss of Duffy for the Playoffs, because we're still winning the central fellas.
