Ned should be kicked in the nuts for leaving Ventura in for this inning. He was at 100 pitches after the last inning, he's supposedly on a season pitch restriction, and he's been playing with fire all game long. No reason not to go to the pen.

The throw wasn't going to be close. I understand the sentiment, but it was the right thing to do.
