J-Dub its called an apology. I (unlike you) can admit when I'm wrong in this thread, and I'll give a commemorative plate to the person I've wronged.

On Moose homers:

His fly-ball percentage is about 8-percent higher than the next highest Royal (Perez). He also hits them out at a pretty good rate, jacking nearly 12% of all fly balls for homers. A bit of that fly-ball percentage is taken from his line-drive percentage — 18.1% in 2014, down 1.7% from 2013. Another chunk comes from his ground-ball percentage — 34.8% in 2014, down 1.8% from 2013.

That LD% is a little low, hurting his average (.198) and BABIP (.191), but those LDs becoming FBs is better than the alternative (Billy). Moose has hit into just 4 double plays this season.

If Moose can avoid swinging at low and away trash, he'll drive more balls to the right side.  Of course, the shift hurts him, but he's garbage the opposite way. Moose is better this year at not swinging at balls, but he's still swinging at low-away strikes and it hurts him.

Guys. We now have a 7-game homestand against the Tribe (4 starting Thursday) and 3 aganist the Twins (starting next Tuesday). Predictos? At this point, our Royals have me a bit mystified. That said, I think we need  3 of 4 from the Indians and 2 of 3 from the Twins.
