Jim Dickey.  Convinced the senior class to redshirt. Parrish followed Dickey.

i wish i could see what that news article was from the OP.  i was shocked when i opened this thread and saw that post. 

my condolences to the Parish family.

That time frame would coincided with him being fired from Ball State. I don't think you have to feel bad for him passing away 11.5 years after you made that joke.

Eeeek!  I remember listening to Coach Parrish interviews on K-State post-game radio.  Always felt bad for him because he was always explaining a loss.  RIP Coach Stan Parrish.
