Gurley
« on: November 19, 2010, 07:50:10 PM »
Incorporating a new excuse for the Hawks tonight.  "Anticipation call."  Guess the Mighty Hawks don't actually commit violations, they are simply so good that it fools the officials.  Dude had said this like 10 times already tonight.  Funny stuff.   Also funny- "Marquef was nowhere near him!  Well, he was behind him but how do you call that foul on him?"

Gurley just admitted that the refs blew an over-and-back call against UNT, then dismissed it as Karma.  What in God's name did UNT do that would allow KU to have better Karma than them?

Did Self give him a hand-me-down rug?   :horrorsurprise:

Also tried to pump UNT up tonight for the HBBIQ KU fans by saying that even though the Mean Green lost by 20 to K-State in the first round of the NCAA last year, the game was closer than that.

The nonstop whining from Gurley and Dave Armstrong has forced me to discontinue even casually watching uk.  I used to flip it on if they were playing and sort of watch while doing something else.  I don't even do that anymore, it's too awful.

I'm not even going to get into the ridiculous bias in uk's favor present in the officiating at their home games.

His brother is a knee surgeon here in KC. He pretty much ruined my knee. eff them.

He went to Shawnee Mission South.  Just like me.  And Sprads.  I hope Sprads has a good career for no other reason than I'm sick of hearing about the legend that is Greg Gurley from every Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) who went to South.

It turns out..........he's a real douche.....
