Here's the audio. The amount of self-validation that oscar casually spouts is pretty obnoxious.

Will say though, highly enjoyed his best Rick Flair impression at 40 seconds in.

I thought that was one of the best interviews he's done. Gottlieb is good.

Different circumstances that carry different value and weight... but really? I hope Illinois enjoys that guy. I sure see no reason to mope.

At this point though, I would've taken Josh Davis. K-State needs the help and can't afford to be picky this late in the game with kids.

My point is this- You'd take Josh Davis from Tulane just like you would've taken a good player from TCU in the past. Both bad ball teams...

Yet, TCU comes in, gets B12 budget, has Dallas/Ft.Worth recruiting/market and has found potential outside of just football w/ Trent Johnson.

What makes one think Tulane, w/ New Orleans recruiting/market, couldn't do equal things? Forget expansion. Just talking similarities w/Davis

That's why I said, you can't diss Tulane athletics, but then drool over one of their players. There's difference, but also correlation.

Folks- I am NOT trying to say the Big 12 should go after Tulane. If you're arguing with me over that, you're missing the point.

Remind me to never bring up expansion on Twitter ever again. Wasn't even the direct intention. Now I'm being labeled a "Tulane supporter"?

The whole idea was not to immediately jump to conclusion and place a label if, IF, a school like Tulane was ever tossed around. Good lord.

If you recall at the start of the expansion talk three years ago, his boss strongly advocated for Tulane to the Big 12.
