We left them open alot, bad defensive rotation. They hit a ridiculous amount of open shots. OJ saved us. Probably will start at Gonzaga.

Coasted to a 14-point lead at half.  Came out in the 2nd half and played defense like the game was over.  Then hit a long stretch where we were clanking almost everything.

We were looking ahead to the CBE.  There, I said it.    :flush:
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

Still, you would think we could float by on talent alone.   :blindfold:

Coasted to a 14-point lead at half.  Came out in the 2nd half and played defense like the game was over.  Then hit a long stretch where we were clanking almost everything.

We really played poor defense the entire game.  Presbyters were 6-9 from 3 at half.  We played okay in the interior, but the piss poor perimeter defense was there the entire game.  We just didn't play with energy and emotion.  Then in the 2nd half after a decent first half shooting from the perimeter (5-12 from 3) we couldn't hit shots in the 2nd half (2-12 from 3).  Add in missed bunnies, mainly in the first half, and poor FT shooting, and it was just a poor effort.

K-State basketball is about defensive energy fueling everything else, tonight that just wasn't the case.  It was an effort that reminded me of a ton of Wooly games really.  Just not good.
