New talking point?
« on: November 17, 2010, 08:54:22 PM »
KSU alums have had more of an impact on the game of basketball then KU.

Facts
-Tex Winter fundamentally changed the game, 10 rings, blah blah blah
-KU has.......(waits for Naismith  invented the game so I can bring up historical evidence that he stole it)

edit: I are the fail

both very correct.  Once you start thinking of cheating, theft and KU it all starts to blend together.

I think the reasoning is still sound though.

Naismith invented lying and cheating. That's a very big part of the college game and KU's history. Not to be underestimated.

Not an actual alum.  Just someone who knew his theft of the game would catch up with him so he went waaaaay out to flyover country to some hole in the road to propogate the concept he stole.
