Also, could not hear it well on tv, but I was very happy and tired and not concentrating on the chant.  So who knows.

Just have the "so what" guys make one that says "good effort" and one that says "thank you" and hold them up alternately to just the student section at the end of the game.  The go-ood eff-ort thing is ok but it doesn't incorporate "thank you" which is important and it also comes across as a sarcastic cheer towards the opponent which is not the intent.  The intent of this tradition is to continually mock bobby knight.  IMO.
