I likely won't watch one K-State football game next year if Cosh is our DC.

I'll start now. When I go ahead and cancel my K-State All Access Pass here in a few minutes I'll be sure to be sure to type in the continued employment of Christopher Cosh as my reason.

I would expect the decision to either fire or reassign Cosh to come sometime after next Sunday.  No way that dude is still DC next year.

All JT is proving is that Vic sucked, too. It's not a defense for Cosh.

I'm trying to remain calm but I am really scared about who could be his replacement.  I really need a homerun hire and preferably one who could be our next HC.  I'm afraid neither will be the case though.  Maybe, if we get a guy like Leavitt, he will demand that he is able to bring in some of his own staff.  Probably just wishful thinking.

Never said Cosh was good, just pointing out that Vic isn't much better.  I don't want a DC that has his team in the 50's, I want to be back in the top-25.  Vic was supposed to be some master recruiter and he has never really showed that ability, even at places like Clemson.  Dude has had basically zero good/great recruits attributed to him.  We need a hotshot recruiting DC.  We need a Venables type of guy.

No idea what those rough ridin' numbers mean, but I don't need a rough ridin' "DE" to know that our defense is absolutely rough ridin' awful.  We are dead last in the nation in yards per rush defense.  Per game or scoring numbers are meaningless because of the way our offense shrinks the game.  Cosh is rough ridin' horrendous...don't give me this "talent' bullshit argument...LAST IN THE NATION!

Those numbers are THE relevant stat when comparing defenses.  They are normalized for pace.

this may be a dumb question, but does DE take into consideration SOS?  either way, fantastic job by Cosh this year. HE'S NOT AS BAD AS TIBS.

If you looked at the ones from the CPI this year,  they did take into account SOS.  I was too lazy to adjust the previous years' DE for SOS.  The #'s above are raw, but if I did account for SOS I imagine this year's DE would be worse, but still not as bad as 2008  :kugoalposts:

Vic.  114th ranked defense to 60th rated defense (in one year).

After today K-State will likely go to the 105th or 106th ranked total defense in the country.
