would be very unfrankish but I'm for it.  esp. for nino who was going to prep anyway until the last minute.

FWIW, Martin said on the postgame that Nino had a concussion in practice like 2 days ago and was still on the south side of knowing which way was up.

usually you redshirt the not ready or garbage parts of your class.  frank is lucky that every member of his last few classes has fit that description.  :surprised:

I don't want to redshirt anybody.  We need all the bodies we can run out there- especially dudes like Southwell who can defend and play 3 different positions.  Maybe Nino, I guess.  But Frank didn't mind using guys like Russell for sporadic minutes and I think that exposure certainly shows in his play this year.  Plus, we may need their redshirts down the road.

We also played freaking James Madison.  When we really start running, our bench depth could be a huge advantage. And Southwell supposedly plays good D- someone who can help when we get into foul trouble.  We haven't redshirted anyone good before, why start now?

We have to have somebody to play when Martin puts everyone but Pullen in a jumpsuit.  :surprised:

I said Nino could be a possible redshirt earlier.  But Nino can also play forward- something we may need depth at.  (Foul trubs). If Frank wants to redshirt him, fine, but I doubt he will and I really don't think he should.

At some point, so much depth just doesn't matter. We'll have to have a set rotation if we're going to be good, and that's going to leave some guys on the bench, which is looking pretty full

Guess we could redshirt Myles.  Would probably be a good move for him considering he'll be leaving next year anyway.

I hope Nino gets hit in the head hard again so Frank HAS to redshirt him. He's pretty raw and it'd help his game a lot.

Probably didn't practice well.  Remember when Rodney went for like twenty last then barely left the bench for like 2 weeks?

Devon Peterson is the only guy eligible to redshirt now, because he hasn't played. Everyone else has. Yes, exhibitions count.

My bad. I see the NCAA changed this rule so that freshmen can play in exhibition games and still redshirt.
