It's not that I don't have a dvr face-rough rider.

Us Denver Catz are embroiled in a battle of wills with DirecTV about FSKC being blacked-out for Catz game and I simply can't fathom waiting until Friday to get a shot of JYC.

Tell DirecTV you want KC stations.  Do you watch the local news?  You shouldn't, because the local news is stupid.  You won't be missing anything.  Problem solved.
