We don't have a passing game with any of our QBs. At least Klein is a threat to run.

Believe me, I'm not complaining. Klein looks great so far. We'd be in trouble if we were down a few scores but his running ability adds a lot to our offense.

7 pts early in the game wouldn't be a huge deal. If it's 14+ or late in the game than Team CCQ will be justified in screaming for his return. Maybe some sort of qb-by-commitee type of thing?

We're not throwing the ball tonight because we have had zerp reason to. We've had the lead the entire game and we continue to move the ball on the ground. The reason UT won't have a chance to pull a KU tonight is because Snyder knows how to use a lead and the clock to his advantage.

I don't give a crap if we pass the ball. I could see us losing this game with Coffman in. Klein gives us so many advantages in the red zone. Texas has had to respect Klein's running all night long. He doesn't even need to pass because he actually poses a threat in at least one facet of the game , and that is more than Coffman. We don't score half of these red zone td's without Klein in the first half. It has been so obvious all season long that Coffman is too slow and timid to pose a threat in the run game, therefore the defenses just pin their ears back with pressure to stop Thomas and give Coffman no time to pass. Teams can't do this against Klein because that pressure could result in a huge play.

When I saw that Klien was starting I got excited, because I knew we had a good chance to win.

Yeah, it does. Klein can run. Coffman would have been tackled in the back field on half of those plays. That is what happens when you put an athlete on the field.

If we are only going to throw 2 passes per game, then why don't we just play Daniel Thomas at QB and William Powell at RB? Daniel Thomas has shown better passing ability this year than Colin Klein.

Actually, we tried this last game and it was working good. I do think Klein is a pretty good runner, though. He is fairly impressive running the ball. I think the big thing is to just have an athlete on the field at quarterback.
