you're right it is probably best to imagine what you think their excuses will be and post them instead, saves time and energy.

not sure what you're looking for, sanchez.  the american public always makes knee jerk decisions.  the next election, the pubs will get voted out because things haven't changed as much as promised.  wash, rinse, repeat.  such is life in american politics.

I think he's disappointed that the Republican's "permanent majority" that was being talked about in 2004 lasted a whole two years.

Actually, I mean every time the dems lose, its not because of their message, its "Republican dirty tricks," "we didn't voice our message effectively," or something else lame.  Never, "The people aren't radical leftists and don't want any of our  :bs: "

Not yet.  The post-election news cycle is just beginning.

And we went over the Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) thing last week.  Liberals were already proven as such.

I think OK_cat  is referring to the 2008 election. This one was more of a correction.

no.  every election is full of people making knee jerk reactions.  most people don't have the patience to let things progress, they want results right now.  goes for both parties.

Reuters:  Republicans picked up at least 60 House seats,. . . It is the biggest shift in power since Democrats lost 75 House seats in 1948.

Yep, just a typical midterm election  :users:

BO blames the economy, of which he's responsible for, at least partly.

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
