Not sure if anyone else noticed, but KU notched its first win of the season this week in Ames, against the Fighting Haverhill's. KU won the first half, 9-7, marking its first win of a half in a conference game this season. Banners will hang.

Beems is not the only one celebrating this win. Couple of ku fans in my office are dressed in head-to-toe blue and red just did a "chest bump" in the men's room.
