I'm watching the game on the free preview of the NBA League Pass. A few thoughts so far: (Game still in first quarter)

-The Arena is pretty F'n empty and it's the season opener.
-Teams are gonna double Kevin Love, should free up Beaz to score.
-Mike is not gonna out rebound Love and Darko.

Also...T-Wolves and Kings are both gonna be pretty bad this season.

It's like a college mid major game in there and the play isn't much better.

It probably doesn't help that the World Series is on.  :dunno:

Love how all the Wolves commercial feature Beas!  Also, they're the youngest team in the league..hopefully they're good here in a couple year.

FYI-  Beaz had 17/7, Wolves lost 116-117.  Would be nice if Love wasn't such a FP, TC, etc.  Sorry SOB played like 8 minutes.

how good can the T-Wolves be w/ Ridnour running point.  didn't know that guy was still alive.

i thought Love was supposed to be good.  Cousins basically made him his bitch.

Basically Cousins is good because he is "athletic."

Love is good because he has "Leadership."

Everyone is a winner.

If Cousins becomes "well spoken" he will be a serious ROY contender.

Beaz's effort was off the charts tonight... the announcers were slightly surprised and very pro-Mike by the end of the game. So was I.  :kstatriot:

MIAMI -- Michael Beasley's return to Miami ended painfully for the Minnesota forward, who was helped to the locker room after a hard fall while driving for a score against his former team.

Beasley landed awkwardly after making a layup with 8:10 remaining until halftime, immediately grabbing his left hip after falling on his side to the court. He got up and took a few steps, face writhing in pain, before going down again near the Timberwolves' bench and needing assistance to reach the locker room.

Beasley was quickly diagnosed with a bruise and was getting X-rays, which were negative, the Timberwolves said.
