Some thoughts...

Don't forget guys, I was in Waco. So I saw EVERYTHING....

- CC is actually becoming a pretty serviceable QB. Wish he wasn't so damn unathletic.

- Quarles is living up to that 4* rating!!!!

- Chris Harper is NFL material @ WR. He was one defender away from taking that reverse to the house and made a very athletic move (C-Coff made a great block on that play BTW).

- If I was William Powell I would wanna to kill Snyd's (minus the scholie OB'z gave him) for not playing him @ RB at all. What's his average? 9.0 YPC? That's Finley type sh1t!!!

- If Jarell Childs gets coached even a little bit by Cosh he's gonna be a good one. His athleticism is pretty underrated. Chased Griffin down one on one, actually beat him to the sideline and pushed him back.

- Garrett is our best defender. Harold close second.

- Zimmerman is going to be an all Big XII player by his senior year.

- E-Lamur blows. Just plain dumb and can't read anything that the opponent's offense is throwing at him. Falls for play action every single time. Only played last year because we had nobody else.

- Baylor fans are adorable in every sense of the word (their booing is very GBR by the way).

- For a while there I thought Scott Drew was the band director/running the sound system because Baylor would CRANK up the music when we were in the huddle/all the way up to the snap, all while the band was playing at the same time. CHEATERS.

Also, don't know if any of you saw the highlight yet of the fumble recovery in the endzone after punching the ball out of Finley's hands at the two yard line on that 80 some yard run, but it looked like it was a bad overturning of the call. Haven't seen the review up close yet though.

Not even there. On the read option between Griffin/Finley almost every time he decided to give the ball to Finley absolutely no LB's were home and there would be a hole so big that a car could drive through it.

Ours DE's would usually stay home so it was easy for RG3 to make the right read EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Loved that D-Train called out the defense after the game: ""We scored over 40 points. That should get you the win every game." Definitely needed to be done.

Agree with much of what Pett had to say.  CCQ block on Harper reverse! Zimmerman, could be what you suggested, but I could also see Tetuan/Watts 3.0  

Definitely would like to see more of Powell.  Makes me wonder... Why so much Powell when DT was doing whatever he wanted, now when he's getting stuffed, no Powell.


Would like to add:

Hartman/Lamur = Brutal

Harrison is very fast.  The way he caught up w/ Finley to cause that fumble  

Smith and Thompson going down for the year are going to be TROUBLE.

"Baylor Line" would be dream to live through... I mean sheesh, you get to run on the field before the game, right before the players do?? Sign me up! (But odd watching it...)




And yes: defense was no where to be found. Wrong place, every time.

#kstate is now 105-1 all-time when scoring +40 points in a game.

Also, I think we ran the exact same defense for the first 3 quarters, then when we ran an underneath zones with our LB's to the outside was when we finally got our first legitimate stop.  That being said the middle was wide open the entire game, with our safeties being outside the hashes the entire game.  Pett, your thoughts?

This is probably accurate.  _FANalysis this week will look at some of the flaws of this current scheme, then a little bit at OSU.

Taking the K-State model of safety progression into account, he should be one of the worst players on the team by his Senior year. (Tetuan, Watts, Carney, etc.)

One of the few times I've seen it called probably cost KSU a game vs. OU and Stoops during the era of Snyder 1.0.
