How did that work? MU employees had lowered the posts already? Did they just turn them over to the students? Half the fun of rushing the field is tearing down the posts, not carrying away the disassembled posts.

Yes, that is how it worked. They still looked pretty amped to be carrying off various pieces of post, though.

I can really only think of one time in the history of college football where arrests for trespassing onto the football field would be justified. It happened in Lawrence, KS in 1994.
