espn gave him a 95 rating, but rivals gave him a 2 star rating coming out of high school. Is he good or is he an ok player?

Pullen JamSam McGruder Nick Russell Denis Wally =Star ratingWhile our recruiting may be sub-par on paper, Frank and staff's ability to seek out those players with potential to develop have been unmatched, IMO. And now as I look back, may not have been the best choice to represent Star Rating...but I'm not changing it now
in the end, EMAW will always win.
Devon Peterson spent the past two years compiling community college credits, crashing on couches and playing pickup basketball. He had become something of a mythic figure, a talented player who couldn't quite solve the eligibility puzzle. So there was some natural surprise when, two years after his last season of organized basketball, Peterson showed up at Kansas State."I walked into study table and saw him doing his work," forward Jamar Samuels said. "I was like, 'Yo, what are you doing? Are you supposed to be here right now?'"He was like, 'Yeah, they just admitted me.' That was pretty cool."K-State announced Wednesday that Peterson has joined the team as a walk-on. Peterson, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound guard from Lincoln High School in Brooklyn, N.Y., will be eligible to compete this season as a junior."He's a hard-nosed kid," coach Frank Martin said. "The same path he's taken to get here echoes the kind of player he is. He's a grinder."Peterson was a decorated high school player at Lincoln, the same school that produced Sebastian Telfair and Lance Stephenson. He began his college career at Broward College in Florida, where he averaged 16 points and earned all-conference honors as a freshman.Peterson committed to K-State as a scholarship player two years ago, but eligibility problems delayed his enrollment."To his credit, he's continued to pursue it," Martin said. "He's remained loyal to us. He could have gone on scholarship and played somewhere else, but he remained committed and loyal to us."Peterson is a scoring guard who should be in the mix to earn minutes in the backcourt opposite Jacob Pullen."Tough New York guard," Samuels summarized. "Tough New York guard that will help us out a lot."In conjunction with Peterson's arrival, K-State announced that Topekan Jarrod Kruger is no longer with the program. Kruger, the nephew of former Wildcat and current UNLV coach Lon Kruger, walked on at K-State after earning second-team all-city honors as a senior at Topeka West.
Kruger
with peterson coming to ksu does that mean angel rodriguez will be more likely to go some were else?
Kruger was clearly a TC, FP, etc. That or he was a spy for UNLV.
