oscar Pearl, no contract
« on: October 21, 2010, 06:38:32 PM »
Apparently, UTenn terminated his contract the day before he announced that he lied to the NCAA.  He is currently working without a contract and could be fired or quit at any time, though they are negotiating a new contract.  Weird stuff.

I wonder where we would be if he had been signed and Wooly got the axe one year early.

interesting that both MBB and FB have big recruiting issues.  You would have to think the AD is about to get it in the ass from the NCAA.

Nah.  Let Pearl recruit for a full year without NCAA restrictions.

technically oscar has already been 'fired' and is working as an at will employee.

ESPN is reporting that the 'jury is out' on him staying.  Maybe better then a dreaded vote of confidence from the AD.

Oh my gah. Would def. take. If you thought he was a dirty recruiter before can you imagine him w/o a contract holding him down. Some team is going to get them a Huggins type of deal.

Does anyone think the madness in manhattan painter was sending a subliminal message by painting oscar Pearl instead of Frank?  :surprised:
