I don't live close enough to Lawrence to get the freebies, and I'm not really willing to pay more than about $20 to watch us play a crappy KU team. Next year, I plan on going to the games in Miami (if it stays on the schedule) and Austin. I might go to Lawrence in 3 years, but probably not.

I remember going to "Gordmans" (back then, it was called the Half Price Store) in Topeka the day of 64-0, listening to it in my car. An old man approached me and asked me the score of the game, I said "43-0".  Didn't even have to specify the team.

I went. Felt like a USC fan during there dominant days. Showed up late to the game and left a little early. 
Oh what was that....Oh they finally scored a touchdown, good for them.

This year was my 11th Sunflower Showdown. 1998-2004, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010. Probably the 2nd or 3rd most enjoyable.
