Worst college town I've ever been to. Makes Okie State seem somewhat cool (it's not). Stadium is disgusting, crickets in the trough urinal and no doors on the stalls (circa 2006).  Go back to Dallas and drool over the littany of blonde hotass babes (fake one if you can).

Also, I'll be there but will not be meeting anyone from the internet

I went there a couple years ago.  It's very possible that there will be as many K-State fans as Baylor fans.  No joke.

I bet there will be, but considering how few fans there were at the KU Baylor game, we don't need to bring many to match them. They'll be lucky to fill their stadium halfway. Sad and pathetic fanbase.

I have a feeling there will be more Baylor fans than we expect.  Probably just me being an irrational lunatic though.

tickets are in section "T"   seriously...lettered sections wtf

also will likely stop at the "salty dog" b4 the game.  i guess powercat gameday will be there so maybe some KSU fans too.  if it sucks then will just head to the stadium and tailgate.

I've got stuff I have to do in the morning.  Haven't decided if I'm going to make the drive or not yet.

My only trip to Waco was for the debacle 4 years ago.  There are some restaurant/bars downtown (use Franklin Ave. and University Parks Drive as a reference point).  Also, there are a few bars south of campus, but I've never been to that area of town.  George's sets up a beer garden east of the stadium on gamedays on Dutton, I think between 30th and 31st Street.

Bar district in Waco?
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever
