I find it hard to believe we're having a kid sit out a year with us just to be sent packing.  I'm guessing Samuels, Irving, Myles.  Diaz redshirts.

Edited so I look less Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!)

I don't know what you had written before, but cutting the league's 6th Man of the Year and a potential draft prospect would be Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).

There have been reports that Omari Lawrence and Willie Reed plan to walk on to the team. If this stands, we'd be just two over the limit, so we'd only need to pull two players' schollies. My choice would be Myles and Russell, but they could prove me wrong. Also, one or more players (Judge, Samuels) could have a monster year and declare for the draft (let's hope not), which would make things easier from a scholarship standpoint.

Edit: Peterson could also walk on his senior year, and Diaz could go to prep school (as has been mentioned), putting us at 13 schollies. Reed, Lawrence and Peterson -- can you imagine having so much walk-on talent at once? A future draft pick...a once heavily-recruited 3-star...and 95!

From a program standpoint, you want players to have monster years and declare for the draft, btw. If Wally was able to make the jump after this year, that would be awesome.

Not to mention Samuels isn't even on the draft radar at this point, so if he has a big enough year to jump straight to the draft, that means we're probably kicking a historically huge amount of asses on the way to a title.

Doesn't Omari have some rich family friend/KSU alum back on Connecticut that was rumored to be paying his 'tion once his spirit quest in Concordia is over?  :dunno:

I do want them to have monster years. I don't want them to declare for the draft, not yet. That's selfish of me, of course.

Also, Samuels is faintly on the draft radar: http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Jamar-Samuels-5832/

Sprads is going to play a pretty decent amount of minutes (as a true freshman) for a top 5 team.  How does he have D2 skills again?

Was crazy about Henson from the first exhibition I saw him play. Comparing Spradling to Henson,  :jerk: when he's actually the second coming of Aaron Swartendruber.

Yeah, when most of the team / recruits follow Frank to Miami he's not only going to be on 'ship, he's going to be a starter.   :users:
