Looks very meh. So basically we're spending $10m+ on Deb, AND Frank has to surrender the film room 90% of the time to her? eff that. Will also make OOD look hideous in comparo. And why doesn't Frank and the assistants get their own individual showers? Why can't the men have the whole facility to fill it with truly badass things and just park a camper by Ahearn for the wimms?

I'm predicting that nothing about this practice facility will be unique enough in any regard to catch a recruit's eye. Carbon-copy $20m practice facility. Way to think outside the box Currie. Reach for the stars I say, or maybe a kleenex.

btw where is our empty trophy case going to be located? :excited:

Ooh, nice outfit. What is that, Dacron?

Yeah . . . because when  you think basketball practice facilities,  you really think, "This is a building where an architect can really expand their horizons and do something unique". :jerk:  :jerk:

seriously, the only thing that might make this better is if it doubled as a theme park ride (like the detonator at wof), had heather brooke as the secretary, a low gravity room for slamball, and a "wack a drew" game where the club is shaped like frank's fist.

I'm not smart enough to know if BigCat is just being contrary on this thing or not.  Please use italics or some sort of PW style crap if you are being a smart ass, troll, etc.

There's no doubt we will need this thing when we bring Jim back for 2011-12

Is this a bad idea? Given we've spared no expense on this facility, should we have built little a mini Jurrasic Parkish type of ride that shuttles people around giving them insider access to practice/film/etc?

Looking forward to the brace and the cooking classes.    The topper would be Jim teaching a Leadership Studies class.

It's not that anything we can dream up is financially or technologically impossible, it's just that we're hamstrung by the limited imagination of our garbage fanbase and athelletic department/university leadership. Their idea of big doings is mop storage and party platters, when we need to be thinking about robots to dress the players and a private night club. But whatever, we'll have fun bbs'ing about the next 60 years of shitty KSU sports.

Personally, I think it's wonderful that the girls get to share in that.  For a while (Nichole Ohlde era), I'm pretty sure they could have beat the boys.  And, later on they won the NIT.  Come on, guys.

When I played at Manhattan Christian College back in the Ohlde Era, we beat the estro starting 5 at the Rec on a regular basis by scores of 15-4 and 15-3.  Stop thinking they were good compared to any guy's team.  Cuz they weren't.   However,    at guarding Megan Mahoney!!!!!

at $400/SF, there better be a lot of funds moved from the construction budget to the "paying players fund".
