Rumors starting to heat up about Clint heading to Liverpool. Thoughts on this move? I think it would be great for US Soccer. Not sure he would score as much at Liverpool competing for time with Suarez/Carroll. Maybe they would play him in an attacking midfielder role?

Personally, I would have preferred that he move to Arsenal but either is better than him rotting away at Fulham where they are very mediocre every year.

Yeah this kinda worries me. But there is still no denying that as racist and shitty as the club is right now, it's easily one of the biggest English clubs and should help in further developing Dempsey.

Why not?

I haven't done any research on this, but I'm guessing it's because their last owners were two Americans who the fans believed bled them dry and drove them close to bankruptcy (I don't know the details). It was then sold to another American (owner of the Red Sox) and they haven't done well since.
