Probably ought to watch out for meth in Topeka.  One of my best friend's sisters got addicted to it and had to go to rehab.  Not pretty.  Funny story: she actually introduced me to my wife.

I have nothing against Garden City.  I've been there like two or three times, and it was back in high school for whatever.

All I remember is that the town smelled like a stockyard and that I ate at Wendy's.  Also, the rooms inside the high school had three languages on all of the placards: English, Spanish, and what I assumed was Vietnamese.  I thought it was strange, but I didn't think much of it.  Frankly, I didn't care.

I honestly didn't think about race.  God's honest truth.  I just thought someone was making fun of a junky town because I'm from a junky town, and that's funny to me.
